1. Marketing strategy employing multiple media pathways in which to reach and influence a target audience. In this sense, a channel might be a retail store, a website, social media messaging, web advertising, or an email communication. Thus, allowing a business to reach prospective or current customers via the channel of his/her liking.

New Media

–noun.
1. A term meant to encompass the emergence of digital, computerized, or networked information and communication technologies in the later part of the 20th century. Examples include websites, streaming audio and video, email, online communities, web advertising, and mobile computing. This term is in relation to "old" media forms, such as print newspapers and magazines, that are static representations of text and graphics.
